Nene Leakes on “Steve,” Monday September 18th

It’s official! The “rich bitch,” Nene Leakes, is back for Season 10 of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Word on the street is that Bravo offered $2.5 million to get Leakes to return to the show. On Monday of this week, the housewife turned Hollywood actress sits down with Steve Harvey on his new syndicated talk show, “Steve.” TVBlack (TVBDC) is guessing Harvey will hit on how Leakes feels about her return to the RHOA franchise full-time, Kim Zolciak’s return and Kenya Moore’s “sham wedding.” But being the opportunist Leakes is, she’ll likely try to get a plug in for her new website – “thefabgab.co.” (“Steve,” Monday September 18th, syndicated, check your local listing for show times)

A new book, “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane,” hits bookstores and online retailers this week. And the new album – “Mr. Daviswill be released in October. But TVB thinks Gucci will partially be in damage control mode for his collaboration with polarizing YouTube personality, Jake Paul. Recently, Paul told a fan that they look like they would “blow someone up” based on their race. Tune in to find out if “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah takes it there. (“The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” Comedy Central, Monday September 18th 11pm/10 pm C)

21 Savage

The rap game has a new, funky looking thug for your children to look up to. Atlanta’s 21 Savage was kicked out of middle school for possessing a gun and threatening to shoot his classmate. Ultimately spending a good bit of his teen life in juvenile hall, 21 Savage went on a year long run of funerals for 5 of his murdered friends. He was shot six times on his 21st birthday. 21 Savage’s songs have garnered upwards of 100 million hits on YouTube. His debut record, Issa Albumpeaked at #2 on the Billboard 200. Musical performance. Nyakim Gatwech

Nyakim Gatwech

Sudanese model Nyakim Gatwech was asked by an Uber driver if she would “bleach her skin” for $10 thousand dollars. This type of ignorance is typical for the newly dubbed “Queen of Dark’.” Gatwech has endured pervasive racism since landing in Minnesota to escape her country’s civil war at the age of 14. Harry Connick, Jr. will sit down with the international sensation to talk about her journey to America, her message of self-love, and her stunningly beautiful dark skin. Wanda Sykes on “The Talk,” CBS, Monday September 18th

Wanda Sykes

Wanda Sykes

Whether on “Black-ish,” as a stand-up comedian, or on a talk show, anytime is a good time to hear Wanda Sykes use words. She is too damn funny. Sykes is making the rounds to promote her new movie, “A Bad Moms Christmas.” The project attempts to capture the magic of last year’s “Bad Moms,” which has so far grossed more than $110 million. Sykes is also producing a new game show called “Face Value” on BET. Catch Sykes when she sits down with the ladies from “The Talk” this Monday. (“The Talk,” CBS, Monday September 18th 2 pm/1 pm C)

Karrueche Tran on “The Wendy Williams Show,” Thursday September 21st

Karrueche Tran

Karrueche Tran

Claws” is a bonafide hit as evidenced by the recent news of their renewal for a second season. That should be music to Karrueche Tran’s ears. The former girlfriend of Chris Brown turned actress can now buy her own diamond ring and not be bothered by the hollow threats from her voilent ex-lover. Though “Claws” is a success, TVB hopes to hear Tran talk about her relationship with Brown when she sits on the sofa with Wendy Williams this Thursday. We are confident Wendy will get the tea. (“The Wendy Williams Show,” Thursday September 21st, syndicated, check your local listing for show times)

Xscape on “The Wendy Williams Show,” Friday September 22nd

The multi-platinum girl group Xscape caused pandemonium at the Essence Music Festival this summer. It’s clear that the promoters underestimated their star power, which should have been obvious after social media responses to their throwback medley reunion at the BET Awards back in June. Apparently Mona Scott-Young believed the hype. Word on the street is that she is producing an Xscape reality show for VH-1. Initially Xscape and Scott-Young were to work together to produce a biopic. TVB is hoping Wendy Williams gets a scoop in on Xscape drama. We are expecting that the ladies will also perform. Lonzo Ball on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” Monday Night September 18th

Lonzo Ball

Lonzo Ball

So far, Lonzo Ball’s big mouthed father (LaVar Ball) has been right on many things. He said Lonzo would play for the Los Angeles Lakers (he actually said he would ONLY play for the Lakers) and he does. With the advent of the Big Baller Brand, LaVar is betting and comparing his son’s branding power to that of Michael Jordan. But that’s a lot of talking for someone who is not playing the game. TVB thinks it would be more apropos to hear from the young future star in his own words when he sits down with James Corden this Monday night. (“The Late Late Show with James Corden,” Monday Night September 18th 12:37am/11:37pm C)
